Doubly Wed

As I sat in the sitting room of the Bridal Suite on the night before the Irish wedding, looking out the window at the castle, it occurred to me that I was kind of living a fairytale.

If you had told me five years ago that on that day, I'd have moved to Ireland, seen some of Europe, met a boy that is amazing beyond words and brought him back to Australia with me, travelled with him and alone with friends; been married on a beach surrounded by most of our most favourite people and had a fantastic evening dancing and singing with them, then flown back to Ireland with our entire family to do it all again another way, I would've... I don't know. I would probably cried because it didn't seem possible.

Paddy said to me that it was us that made all of it happen- that we had set these goals and done it ourselves. But none of this would have happened without our family and friends, who helped us so much along the way, and dedicated so much to being able to be there with and for us.

I'll start recaps soon, once I have my professional photos back.

I can't believe it was really/only less than a month ago.
