I'm a little bit afraid of looking like a bride at the wedding(s).
Is that weird?
I've pretty much chosen and/or purchased everything I'll be wearing on the day(s).
Piece by piece, they are all pretty things- not flashy, but definitely special. Then I think about them all together and suddenly I have become a bride.
How did that happen?
Maybe it is just seeing all of the things together, rather than spread out over my... self? Maybe I have never worn so many "special" things all in one (...two) day/s before? And that isn't to say I am going over the top on accessories- just
earrings and a bracelet. For the Aussie wedding-
sandals and a veil. For the Irish wedding-
red shoes and a haircomb. When I say it like that it doesn't sound like too much. Hmm.
Does anyone get what I am going on about?
I guess it is hard to avoid being the bride on your wedding day. And I wouldn't want to. It just feels strange... I mean, I've never been a bride before.

I'm with on this. I don't want to look like a bride either. And it's really hard to explain this to my mom or grandma who are much more traditional.
First of all you will be you. I promise.
